a long, tree-speckled driveway pulls up to a restored farmhouse. southern breeze pulls across the hectares, sun pushing through new england cumulus clouds. small tasting room, quaint but no tchotchkes, and very friendly people. they are best at champagne-style sparklings. super cheesy, slightly marine from the foaming atlantic coastline nearby, and homegrown yeast rounds out the bubble sandwich. coming from an area with little to no wine production, this is an awesome day trip.
