Sébastien Bobinet, Du Rififi À Beaulieu, 2011

sunday. opened this in the afternoon with the sun shining through a massive spider plant taking over the living room window. chenin noir (also referred to as pinau d’aunis as i recently learned) has become my favorite summer red. unlike another astounding chenin noir from La Tour Grise, Du Rififi tastes like the best lime daiquiri you’ve ever had. it is unbelievably tart and refreshing, especially when chilled. we drank out of tumblers which were pretty  cavernous, so we poured short and often.
