Liguria has a small but edgy selection of whites and reds to choose from, and after trying quite a few from the region, it’s become one of my favorite spots on the wine map. This one is no exception- although it did taste a bit metallic straight after it was opened. It eased up into a strong bodied, although zesty and invigorating companion to small plates of crudo, tartare, salad and light pasta. Drink COLD.
