Gamay in it’s truest form: 100% biodynamically cultivated grapes with no added sulfites, using only indigenous yeasts and bottled unfiltered. Hervé Ravera is another farmer (and I used this word intentionally) that has chosen to avoid using the AOC under which his wine qualifies, instead calling it “Vin de France”. Distinctive raspberry, mineral, smoke and barnyard dirt, soft tannins and surprisingly tart and bright on the finish. Super refreshing and affable. Best in Show.
