These 45-50 year old vines planted in pink sandstone soil produce a deliciously complex, deep, silky Morgon. It’s probably extra beautiful because Jean & Agnès Foillard seem to really have a knack for listening to their grapes and letting them express themselves as naturally as possible. Although this is a classy, sophisticated Beaujolais that leans towards Burgundy, it remains lively, straightforward and very friendly. For all times!
